For homework this week, we have asked students to continue their nightly reading (at least 20 minutes per evening). The more they read, the better readers they will become! As your child reads, they should be jotting down their thoughts, understandings, and predictions. We would love for your child to share these at home "stop and jots" with us! Your child can either continue jotting on sticky notes as we normally do, or they can use technology to share these thoughts (such as PicCollage or another creative app or even by typing their thoughts in their GoogleDocs account and sharing it with their teacher). Lastly, feel free to use the below comprehension stems to discuss your child's book with them, or to assist them in writing out their thoughts.
